What does this website collect?

Oudbracelet is a static website, so on its own it collects nothing. In fact, the site uses no analytics, no advertising trackers and no cookies. Also, the wrist size you enter on a product page stays in your browser until you choose to send it to us. Similarly, the true-size calibration keeps your screen scale in your browser, so you do not have to repeat it. That value never reaches us. Likewise, the pieces you save and the pieces you recently viewed are kept in your browser only.

What do you send us?

A quote request is a message you send us by WhatsApp or email. The message contains the style, bead size and wrist size you chose. Then, if you go ahead, we also need your name and shipping address.

If you use the form on our contact page instead, your name, email and message go by email straight to our own inbox. We use them only to answer you.

What do we use it for?

  • To weigh and quote your strand, and to reply to you.
  • To ship your order: your name and address go to the carrier.
  • To take payment: payment is handled by PayPal under its own privacy policy. We never see your card details.

However, we never sell your details, and we never use them for advertising. For example, Oudbracelet sends no newsletter and shares no list with any marketing service.

How do you ask us to delete it?

Just message us on the same channel you used. Then we will delete your conversation and order details, except what we must keep for tax records. According to Article 17 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), this right to erasure applies to buyers in the European Union. Also, the GDPR gives a business one month to answer such a request.
