What does final sale mean here?

Final sale means that, once you approve the weighing video and we ship, Oudbracelet does not accept returns. Before that point, however, you can change anything. We charge nothing until you approve the video. Until then, you can ask for more angles, a different strand or simply not go ahead. See how the weighed quote works.

The reason is the wood itself. Every agarwood strand is a single piece of wood with its own weight and price. Also, the video you approved records exactly what you bought. For example, two strands of the same style can differ in weight by more than 50%. So a returned strand could not simply go back on a shelf at the same price.

What do we cover after shipping?

Two problems are on us, and Oudbracelet fixes both at its own cost:

• First, damage in transit. Photograph the parcel before and after opening, showing the damage. Then send the photos and your order reference within 7 days of delivery, and we replace the damaged strand.
• Second, a strand that does not match its video. If what arrives is not the strand in the video you approved, send us photos within 14 days of delivery, and we send the correct strand.

Does this affect your legal rights?

Of course, this policy leaves your rights under the consumer law of your country untouched. For example, EU buyers usually have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase, according to Directive 2011/83/EU. However, the directive has exceptions, such as goods made to the buyer’s specifications. Similarly, the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 set a 14-day period.
